I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) I earned my Masters of Arts in Counseling from Heidelberg University and my Bachelors of Arts in English Creative Writing from Baldwin Wallace University. As a result of my work in community and non-profit based mental health I have experience working with children, teens and young adults who have diverse backgrounds . These experiences have grown my passion for working with clients from all walks of life, particularly those navigating all aspects of trauma, including PTSD and post-traumatic growth.
My areas of focus include IPV/DV, sexual assault, trauma, anxiety, depression, along with life transitions. I have training in both EMDR and aspects of play therapy which I use as a part of an integrated approach also pulling from CBT, feminist, person-centered and narrative therapies. I am passionate about advocacy, empowerment and social justice.
I believe counseling is a place to navigate life’s challenges free from judgement and that fostering a relationship through empathy, trust, and accountability help to achieve a healthy therapeutic relationship.
