Hello! My name is Brianne Lutterman, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I graduated with my Master's in Counseling from UTSA in 2012. I provide online, individual counseling to those whose ages are pre-teen to senior. My therapy is based on open and honest communication. I consider myself a straightforward person. I believe that everyone needs a person in whom they can divulge anything without judgment. I feel that I am a compassionate and understanding person who will meet you where you are at.
During therapy, I seek to identify your goals and where you would like to see yourself. We will identify unhelpful thoughts, emotions, and/or behaviors that get in the way of your goals, and what beliefs contribute to them. I will challenge any irrational or unhelpful thoughts/beliefs that stem from anxiety or depression.
Clients of mine have told me that they can tell me anything without fear of judgment, and I take great pride in that. I feel that like a good friend, I can be a trusted confidant, but unlike a friend, I will not simply tell you what you want to hear, but will challenge your line of thinking for you to understand where your anxiety or depression comes
