My ideal clients are children, teens, and adults navigating depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, behavioral challenges, trauma, or family and peer conflict. They may struggle to identify or express their emotions, and they are seeking a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space to be heard and understood. Their goals include building emotional awareness, developing coping strategies, improving relationships, and gaining the confidence to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and resilience.
Using evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, MI, IFS-informed work, EMDR, play therapy, and equine therapy. I tailor sessions to meet each client’s unique needs and guide them toward resilience, clarity, and effective coping skills. Practicing in multiple locations, including equine therapy settings, allows me to provide flexibility to clients.
I provided a relaxing no judgement zone that organically opens up the lines of communication. I enjoy creating rapport with even the most resistant children and adolescents and meeting them exactly where they are. The horses LOVE being my coworkers in equine therapy!
