My client's often see me because they feel stuck. The things that usually work aren't working the same and they are wanting to try something new - a different approach. We often work on discovering and exploring you and identifying your authentic self. This becomes a space to share with safety in mind and without judgement. We work through learning new skills, exploring the parts of our life that are contributing to the stress in our life, and learning that we don't have to be too hard on ourselves.
This is a space without judgement, it is so refreshing to speak with someone who has no involvement in your personal affairs. I use a person-centered and strengths-based approach that allows the individual to take control in this therapeutic space. As far as treatment modalities, I tend to approach therapy through an eclectic lens.
Therapy can be new, exciting, scary, and filled with uncertainty. As your therapist, I will make sure that you do not fall. I am here as a support in your journey, and even if you stumble, I will make sure that you are able to keep going. Doing hard things is hard, but I know that you will achieve what you set out to do.
