Hi there! Nice to “meet” you. My name is Brianna Wiley and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I work with adolescents and adults helping to better their lives. I use various approaches to therapy, as one shoe does not fit all. I was inspired by my own Therapist years ago to pursue this work. I enjoy assisting and watching folks reach their goals and “get back” to them.
I believe goal setting is with both the Therapist and Client on board. This is necessary for the therapeutic process. My communication style may be described as lax, as I feel this allows for the client to be comfortable.
Usually, the first session involves several questions being asked. This will help us both formulate a game plan for therapy. Don’t worry, we won’t jump straight into the work yet! What you can expect from our first session together is for us to spend the majority of our time talking about how you've been feeling recently, and me asking questions.
