Brianna believes we all have an innate wisdom inside of us that’s always there & that we enter this world w/ more access to it than ever before. She also believes that we enter this world w/ unique parts that make up our complete whole - our psyche. These parts can be wonderfully unique & terrific attributes of our personality - our strengths. However, trauma can drive these parts of ourselves into extreme roles. Despite meaning well, they can create emotional & behavioral patterns that are seen as bad, shameful, or unwanted by those closest to us - leaving survivors feeling deeply broken, unworthy, & unfamiliar on a cellular level.
Although trauma can take place in relationships w/ others, Brianna knows firsthand just how powerfully healing a healthy therapeutic relationship can be when unpacking traumatic symptoms & experiences. Brianna creatively utilizes her certifications in TF-CBT, EMDR, & BSP and Level 1 IFS Institute training collaboratively w/ her clients like a paint palette.

Navigating Relationships with Addictive Parts is a harm reduction support group for individuals struggling with substance misuse. Oftentimes the parts of ourselves that want to use are struggling to navigate big feelings and stressors. During the course of five sessions, we will discuss what harm reduction is, navigate how to cope with difficult feelings, and learn how to form relationships with the inner parts of ourselves using Internal Family Systems techniques.
