I received my master’s degree in Integrative Behavioral Health from the University of Minnesota and have since specialized in treating eating disorders, body image distress, developmental trauma, anxiety, and depression. I have a specific interest in attachment, relational, and developmental trauma and its interconnected nature with the development of eating disorders. I am happy to work with those actively struggling with meeting their nutritional needs, or those who are further along in recovery and want to work from an anti-diet culture lens.
My work is informed by weight inclusive and fat activist movements. I am theoretically grounded in feminist psychology, somatic, and mindfulness approaches. I believe we all have the intrinsic ability to heal and can learn to hear our own voice of wisdom amidst the internal chaos. Theory aside, I orient towards relationship and collaboration.
I am trained in Family Based Treatment (FBT), Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT), somatic therapies, the Neuro-affective Relational Model (NARM) for developmental/relational trauma, and am certified in Psychedelic Assisted Therapies from Naropa University.
