For wheat is wheat, even if people think it is a grass in the beginning.” I believe that no matter where you are in your healing process, you deserve compassion, understanding, and acceptance. Change only starts to occur once we can truly accept ourselves and confront the shame and guilt we've accumulated. Behaviors and coping skills usually serve an adaptive function at some point in time! In other words, we need to make peace with the dark instead of trying to run away from it.

I offer individual therapy for people ages 4+. My passion is working with kids and I utilize child-centered play therapy as my main modality. In a play therapy session, you and your child can expect an environment that assists children in accessing the unconscious thoughts, emotions, and beliefs they grapple with along with co-regulation to promote safety.

My goal as a therapist is to build a therapeutic relationship that feels authentic, compassionate, and rooted in care. When working with kids, it is important that I not only connect with the kiddos in that way, but also with their families.
