I am passionate about helping individuals find hope and healing by the process of therapy. I have a holistic approach to understanding my clients and seek to capitalize on their strengths and talents. I view therapy as a collaborative process. I welcome all parts of you to this space, including your Christian faith. As we work together, it is my goal to support you, encourage you, and help you to make sense of your past as you disentangle it from your present. In 2017, I received my training at Christian Theological Seminary (CTS) in Indianapolis, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling; Later in 2022, I obtained a Doctor of Ministry degree in Practical Theology with a focus on Pastoral Care at CTS.
My training focused on psychodynamic theories and techniques in working with individuals, and my theoretical orientation is eclectic as I draw on various therapies and techniques to meet the unique needs of each client; psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy, client-centered and motivational interviewing are some regularly used approaches.
