I truly believe we hold everything we need within ourselves; sometimes we just need help tapping into it. I enjoy working with teenagers & adults on relationship issues, self-esteem, stress/trauma, women’s issues, life transitions, depression/anxiety, LGBTQ+ concerns, and spiritual/religious challenges. I have experience working with people from diverse backgrounds and many different cultures, and am trained in EMDR.
Some techniques I use are EMDR, CBT, relaxation/grounding, self-compassion, exploring attachment wounds and family systems, strengthening boundaries, and improving communication skills. I can also integrate creative arts like art, music, and movement. Many of my clients find EMDR to be a powerful healing tool for trauma and/or negative self-beliefs.
I want you to leave my office feeling empowered and skillful. I want you to understand yourself better and learn how to show up for yourself in new ways.
