My approach to providing evidence-based counseling stems from a strong foundation of person-centered care, cultural humility, and building authentic relationships with my clients that allows room for positive change.
I am heavily strength-based, meaning I try to help you find your personal strengths and skills, so you can learn to manage life's many challenges well. I draw ideas and techniques from Person-Centered therapy, Cognitive Behavior therapy, and Solution-Focused therapy.
