I enjoy working with adolescents, young adults, and adults with diverse backgrounds. Many seek support for anxiety, depression, panic disorders, adjustment concerns, relationship challenges, family conflict, identity development, and life transitions. I am particularly passionate about supporting people of color and LGBTQ+ individuals navigating discrimination, oppression, cultural stressors, and related challenges. Through a person-centered and cognitive behavioral approach, I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, valued, and empowered.
My approach is grounded in empathy, unconditional positive regard, cultural humility, and personal empowerment. I help clients increase self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, navigate challenges, and build confidence in their ability to create meaningful change. I am committed to providing LGBTQ+ affirming care and culturally responsive counseling.
