It's often said that if "life gives you lemons, make lemonade". But what if you never receive the lemons, what if you have no pitcher, no sugar, or water? My specialty is Trauma-informed care, where I assist in helping to manage anger, self-injurious behaviors, anxiety, and depression associated with negative experiences that life throws your way. I will work with you to recognize your trauma symptoms and help you strategize and obtain the tools necessary to improve those symptoms.
I am an advocate for clients with limited resources and tools to be successful in life and will help to identify treatment goals and work with you to overcome barriers to achieving those goals. We all need a little help sometimes when we feel as though we have fallen. Let's work together to find clarity and build resilience to overcome life's hurdles.
I've often been told by clients that my passion shows as I have a non-biased approach and I care for everyone's overall well-being. This has been evident as I have been able to reach those in severe crisis and encourage overall behavioral change through consistency and meeting each client where they are.
