Groups
Workshop for Kids Coping Skills
My group is focused for kids 7-12 in age. The purpose of this group is to help kids understand themselves better, make stronger friendships, and feel more confident as they grow up. Led by a caring therapist, the group is a safe and friendly place where kids can connect with others who have similar challenges. Together, we’ll learn new ways to handle big feelings, practice real-life situations, and find healthy ways to get along with others. Feel free to call or text 815 258 0950 for inquiry or check out the group information at https://whiteoakinstitute.net.

Coping Skills for Teens
This group is lead by Donna Mendez Ed.D. Donna is a group theory specialist and Adolescent Specialist. She has worked in private practice mostly with Teens and young adults and has previously worked as a high school dean of students and in a non-for-profit organization with teenagers too. This group is all about the teen years and helping these developing minds learn emotional regulation, interpersonal skills with their peers, and more while concurrently learning to cope with outside stressful events in a mostly fun group format.
