About
Briana is a licensed marriage & family therapist associate. Her primary area of focus is couples work, but she also provides services to individuals and families. She believes that clients are the experts of their lives—no one knows you better than yourself! She uses a post-modern approach by collaborating with clients throughout the entire therapeutic process. She sees herself as a helpful guide, assisting you in identifying the root cause of your distress and empowering you to make the changes you desire within a safe and understanding environment.
Briana specializes in the nuances of Black and interracial couples, Gottman Method couples therapy, and Narrative therapy. She is level 3 Gottman Method trained and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) trained—to help process trauma.
Nothing is too big or too small for therapy. From day-to-day stress to life altering experiences, sometimes we just need to talk to someone who can help us process our emotions. Briana is here to assist you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself and the system you are in, so that you can make the best choices for yourself moving forward.
