Hi, I'm Briana and I'm an alcoholic. My "lived experience" in addiction is just as valuable to me as the license I hold. Transparency and authenticity are two of the most important things I bring to the table in a therapy session. My own journey through recovery has given me the gift of reaching the alcoholic and addict still suffering. But let's be honest we are all in recovery from something in life, and our hurts often riddle us with guilt and shame. It is my hope that you find a space to bring all that through the door with you and find the courage to set it all down.
Our first session is an opportunity to build rapport and begin identifying treatment goals. There is no pressure to move any mountains, we are just trying to figure out what mountains we want to tackle.
