Hi, name is Brian Walsh and I am an LMHC who specializes in in the treatment of anxiety disorder, depression and self esteem related issues as well as having treated people with ADHD and various addiction disorders. I have been working professionally as a counselor for the last 5 years and I have been licencensed since 2022. I believe that with hard, work, honesty and a commitment to make internal changes will result in improved emotional recognition, control and improved sense of happiness and well being.
The first session will be focused an building a rapport while also establishing the client's chosen area of focus. This will also be a time to collaboratively set Treatment plan goals, both short and long term.
I am a very empathetic counselor who is good at meeting the client at their level and helping them to improve both emotional recognition and control. I am also good at helping people raise their self self eterm
