Many people feel overwhelmed at times by feelings of depression, anxiety, compulsive and self-destructive behavior and addictions. Sometimes relationships are stressful and challenging rather than being sources of enjoyment, support and meaning. My goal is to create a safe place in which to heal. I provide a structure where clients can process and integrate difficult issues, change self-destructive thoughts and behaviors and improve their relationships with others.
I primarily use Internal Family Systems Therapy. It works with the various "parts" of our personalities to help therm to heal and learn to function together harmoniously. If you are interested in working with this model of therapy, feel free to send me an email.
