Hello! I am a pre-licensed student therapist with more than 20 years of experience working in the field of higher education in student services such as academic coaching and advising. During this time, I was able to hone my skills in providing support to those sitting across from me to provide encouragement to my students to overcome the challenges which faced them outside of the classroom.
I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community as well as other diverse populations. My focus is working with those who are college-age and adults on issues ranging from anxiety and depression to sex positivity.
My approach is centered in supporting my clients in reaching their goals through the therapeutic process and talk therapy. I use an integrative approach to therapy—which is a fancy way of saying I pull from multiple counseling theories and approaches to best help my clients through their journey.
