One of the most rewarding and beautiful things to witness is someone pushing beyond his or her barriers and experiencing life and the world in new ways. It's my belief that one of the ways this can be accomplished is in an atmosphere where we can feel safe, respected, and listened to while we tell our story. I strive to provide this type of environment for each client.
As we grow and face our life experiences we may become stuck along the way. When this occurs, we may need outside help to figure out what works and where to go from there. I provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families. I view families and couples as a system, rather than their individual parts.
In my view, we are never done growing. I think many of us have been hurt by others-even by those who believed they had the best intentions. I see each person's hardships as his or her own-exclusive to the one going through the experience.
