I am fascinated by the human experience, and our ability to endure. Deep healing can begin when we have a safe place to tell our story, to be heard regardless of how our journey has unfolded. I aim to create a place where we won't get interrupted, where someone won't try to "fix" us, to empathize, and to affirm our reality. I find people make their most significant strides in their journey when they allow themselves to maneuver into seeing alternatives and redefine themselves, with a growing confidence in who they have now become.
Many times we find ourselves hurting, even by those who believed their actions were loving. As we evolve and journey through life, we can find ourselves stuck along the way. Sometimes an outside perspective is helpful for us, to sift through what is healthy and how to move forward.
My means for healing is to help us identify what we can and cannot control, and empowering self to make healthy, effective changes. I provide counseling to individuals, couples, and families, working to heal themselves and the system.
