Hi, I'm Brian. I am a Licensed Psychologist in WA and CO. I believe therapy is deeply process-oriented, so it looks different for every person. Generally, my approach integrates mindfulness, behavioral, cognitive, and relational.
My approach ultimately depends on what your needs are. Fundamentally, I believe there are a few core, shared aspects to life that we all relate to: Understanding the self, finding purpose, experiencing fully, and relationships. My therapeutic approach is centered on you and your needs, collaborative, and grounded in evidence and years of experience.
My communication style spans from empathic, reflective, validating listening, to direct, goal oriented, specific instruction. Depending on your goals for treatment, and what you may feel is most helpful to you that day ultimately directs the tone of our sessions.
