My name is Brian Gotterer. I am licensed as a psychologist in California, seeing clients via telehealth. I have experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, ages, and issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship and couples' issues, parenting problems, career challenges, life transitions and phases of life issues, and all general matters. I work with each client to help them achieve their individual goals. I frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and psychodynamic modalities to help my clients move forward and draw upon other modalities when beneficial.
I typically work with clients from diverse backgrounds, ages, and issues, including depression, anxiety, relationship and couples' issues, parenting problems, career challenges, life transitions, and phases of life issues. From my experience, we all can benefit from an empathetic ear, someone on your side who can help you explore what you are dealing with.
My communication style is calm, personable, and adaptive. I strive to ensure that my clients feel comfortable talking with me about anything. I strive to be empathetic and the therapist I want to have. This will be reflected in our work together.
