I have many years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, self-esteem, and confidence. I work with clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. I am in drug addiction recovery and have been sober for 16 years. Started as a counselor assistant about 15 years ago and gained many years of experience working with many different clients' challenges and various cultures. I come from a non-judgmental perspective, as I understand the importance of clients feeling safe in session.
I tend to be goal-focused and hold clients accountable for achieving their goals. Warm, safe and open environment. Building rapport with the client is the most important aspect of therapy.
