I have extensive experience working with people as they navigate life's transitions. I work with adults and adolescents to help people better manage their emotional and behavioral issues including stress, anger, anxiety, and mood disorders (depression, bipolar disorder). I can help add structure to routines when life feels overwhelming, and assist as you work to establish, maintain, and respect interpersonal boundaries.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with 15 years of experience. I am bilingual in English and American Sign Language and have worked with d/Deaf and hearing clients as well as their families. I worked for years in outpatient mental health, a partial hospitalization program, and a nursing home.
I am also available for clinical supervision needs.
I work best with adults who are interested in making or adapting to life changes to feel differently about themselves and the environments around them. Nobody starts seeing a therapist on the best day of their life. This isn't about "moving past" problems, its about changing how we understand the problems and our reactions to them.
