Every person deserves to not only hold space for themselves, but to thrive in it no matter where they go. Getting to that place is a process that involves honesty, reflection and a radical acceptance of self. My job is to encourage you through the process of fully seeing yourself with pride. I prioritize working with women of color, queer and trans people of color and college students of all ages, but particularly from late teens to early adulthood. I also specialize in coping skill exploration with neurodivergent individuals.
My calm, strengths-based approach will encourage you to discover what is within your control and how to use that to your advantage. I utilize techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic and Attachment theories. My overall goal is to ensure my clients feel affirmed and empowered in their identities to navigate their environments.
Having the bravery to reach out for help is the first best step you can take. I maintain a safe and collaborative environment that encourages you to challenge yourself and embrace the qualities that are meaningful to you. I am social justice-driven and don't mind using humor for healing when appropriate. I would love to walk with you on your journey.
