I work with people whose minds, bodies, or relationships seem to have developed a life of their own. People whose lives have become progressively narrowed by the way their nervous system has learned to protect them. Maybe your brain won’t stop doubting. Maybe your body won’t stop hurting. Whatever the struggle or reason, people often find themselves caught in patterns that seemed to once make sense but now seem to run the show. My role is to help you respond to them, experiment with new ways of adapting, and create experiences that gradually open the door to greater freedom, flexibility, and a life that feels more like your own.
Clients often describe me as warm, genuine, and direct. I show up as a real person, not a blank screen. Therapy is a collaborative process of discovering what keeps your trials going and creating new experiences that allow them to change. My skills are narrative, experiential, and behaviorally informed, integrating ACT, ERP, EFT, I-CBT, and others.
I enjoy working with neurodiverse couples, helping partners understand the patterns that shape how they navigate the world together. I also work with concerned family members using approaches informed by SPACE, Invitation to Change, and the Family Well-Being Approach to help relationships become part of the solution when someone isn’t ready for treatment.
