It can feel difficult to seek out help, no matter the reason. My clients may be grieving, confronting life changes, experiencing anxiety and depression, or navigating challenging relationships. Across these circumstances, I provide a space for my clients to receive compassionate support that is specific to each individual. I tend to utilize narrative and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to support my clients in identifying the thought patterns and behaviors that might have once been helpful but are in need of adjustment.
In my training and practice, I specialize in grief counseling. As I widower, I have also experienced personal loss that informs how I approach therapy. This helps me to prioritize empathy when addressing personal struggles, knowing the difficulty that can follow a significant loss or life event.
