I spend my days helping people navigate some of the hardest seasons of their lives, and I've spent time on the other side of the couch myself. That perspective shapes the way I approach therapy. As the owner of Renewing Hope Counseling, I have the privilege of leading a team of 30 dedicated therapists while continuing to work directly with clients. I am trained in EMDR for trauma treatment, Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and am certified in Neuropsychotherapy.

With extensive training in trauma, my approach is integrative using things like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and other techniques to help you reach your goals. I specialize in men's issues including pornography and sexual addiction.

Due to my experience with the local church I work with many pastors, church staff members, and their families. Additionally, my focus includes trauma and PTSD, physical and sexual abuse, couples issues, men’s issues, unwanted same-sex attraction, and other life struggles.
