I work with all types of people and presenting concerns; I particularly enjoy working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, academic concerns, and families with a loved one in recovery from an eating disorder. My hope is that through our work together you come to find that at the heart of my practice as a psychologist is an appreciation and respect for your personal history, joy, trauma, and desires. In our journey together it is my intention that this experience helps you feel this appreciation for your own complexities, and it enriches your experience of others in the world around us.
I utilize a variety of approaches which I tailor to an individual's presenting concern. My work is most heavily influenced by the practice of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal therapy (IPT), and evidenced based eating disorder care (FBT, CBT-E, CBT AR). Like many other types of healthcare, our work will be guided by measurements and data.
Therapy and seeking change is a difficult but rewarding journey. My hope for you in considering your care is that you find the best fit for a provider to join you on that journey. Please feel to reach out for an initial consultation to take those first steps in care.
