Hello! I work with clients of all ages who are experiencing emotional distress or having trouble with daily functioning due to depression, anxiety, trauma, or grief and loss. I also work with clients who are struggling with significant life transitions or attachment issues. I've had extensive training on childhood trauma, its root causes, the implications as we move into adulthood, and the best interventions for treatment. I use a person-centered and person-in-environment approach with my clients. This includes various treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, Attachment Theory and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) to help clients understand, challenge and change negative core beliefs, unhealthy thought patterns and maladaptive behaviors.
