Hi! My name is Brenda Torres, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I believe in working with clients to empower them to reach their goals. I offer a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to share what is on their mind and their hearts. I typically work with people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, setting boundaries with self and others, and the expression of self. I am also experienced in working with those who struggle with motivation to complete tasks or goals.
I use a person centered and thought restructuring approach to assist clients with any negative or anxiety provoking thoughts they may be struggling with. I believe that using various therapeutic approaches work best as everyone is different.
I am a partner with the client, and I walk beside the client to reach their full potential. Therapy is client and therapist led so I allow the client to lead, and we start where the client is at. I will support, encourage, and walk by their side to meet goals they have set.
