Upon retirement from public education in 2010, I embraced the opportunity to open a faith-based Christian counseling practice. It is a humbling experience to develop a counseling relationship with many different people from varied backgrounds. My heart's desire is to provide support and hope for families dealing with relational issues, marital, parenting and life changing events. Counseling services are offered to adults and adolescents focused on emotional, mental, physical and spiritual aspects. Clients are provided an opportunity for faith-based, christian perspective with biblical principals for hope & healing!
My experience includes 32 years as a teacher/school counselor with 12 years specifically working with at-risk teens in an alternative education setting which has provided a foundation of knowledge and insight used in my counseling practice. Helping children, teens and parents with school related and/or behavioral issues is a rewarding challenge.
