I have over 30 years of experience in the US and abroad across a wide array of issues including mental health, substance abuse and education. My professional training is in 4 disciplines; Psychology, Social Work, Education, and Mindfulness. Working with many people around the world I've learned finding peace of mind happens many different ways. We'll find ways that work for you. Overcoming life challenges often starts by seeing them as invitations to change. As a "guide by your side" you'll learn new skills & knowledge, together creating a Self-Care Plan for health and well being to increase inner peace and joy in your heart.

Providing holistic care for body, mind and soul is key for healing and transformation. My role is helping you learn how to "quiet the din and go within" to hear and trust your inner wisdom. After all, you're here to BE your True, Essential-Self. I'm a Certified Forest Therapy Guide and offer face to face nature based care to individuals and groups.

Using evidence-based treatments is important. Therefore, I specialize in Mindfulness Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Meditation as well as Cognitive Behavioral and Nature-Based Therapy. At the end of the day, however, I know the essential ingredients in helping relationships include authentic, empathic, unconditional care for you.

This is an online meditation class during the pandemic. "I'm ready to be done feeling stressed out all the time. I want to learn how to better manage chronic pain. I want more joy and peace of mind." This 8 week class will teach you meditation and mindfulness skills based on Western psychology, Eastern philosophy and the latest neuroscience to effectively reduce stress and enhance overall well-being. Over 40 years of research support Mindful Meditation and new research suggests it can literally rewire the brain. 26 CE Credits Available for counselors, therapists and nurses.

I am a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, trained by the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy Guides and Programs. Offering nature based therapy in a variety of ways is the primary reason for establishing The ONE Center just outside Olympia, WA. I offer Guided Forest Therapy Walks (3 hours) and day retreats to individuals, organizations and groups each month. Nature based silent meditation retreats are also offered at The ONE Center.
