I'm Brenda Moore and I've been a licensed therapist in North Carolina for over 19 years and working in the mental health field for over 28 years. I love to help people find their inner struggles to build their own strength and find resilience in their lives. I'm here to guide and encourage you - I'm not here to solve problems for you, but rather to assist in finding the best way to solve the problems yourself. I meet with clients in a telehealth setting. It's a way for you to be in an environment that is comfortable for you and also to provide you more accessibility to mental health.
During our first session, we'll spend some time getting to know each other as I learn about what is bringing you to therapy and what your goals are. If you don't have goals, we will work on creating some so that you have direction in your sessions.
I feel that I am a really good listener. I am real during sessions with clients. I will challenge my clients to think outside of the box and find ways to look at problems from different perspectives.
