Everything is fine until it isn't! If you are finding this is true for you, let's talk about what is going on. I help individuals struggling with trauma, anxiety/depression, work stress, life transitions and relationship issues. Often these issues first show up as a dissatisfaction with life. My approach is holistic and intuitive with occasional humor sprinkled in. I have over 15 years of experience as a therapist. I use evidenced based-modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Therapy and Trauma-Based Therapy.
A large portion of my clients have experienced trauma in their life. My trauma work is informed by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk's work. I use CBT to work with unproductive thought patterns clients may have. Our starting point will be building trust and rapport in a safe space. These are necessary building blocks for the work we will do together.
It is important to me that you feel heard and understood! You will be invited to share your story and what you hope to accomplish in therapy.
