I work with children, couples, individuals, and families who are seeking therapy to help them manage the strong emotions showing up in their lives. In my practice, I utilize DBT techniques as it supports clients with mindfulness skills, regulating emotions, distress tolerance, and interpersonal skills. When working with couples, I will utilize emotion focused and the Gottman method. I will utilize play interventions and art techniques to work with children to express their emotions and learn positive coping mechanisms.
I support clients with depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, relationship difficulties, anger management, grief, and gender identity.
I always welcome my clients in session with attentive listening that supports my clients with feeling heard and validated. I like to prompt my clients to explore their emotions to assist them with increasing insight about themselves.
