My name is Brenda Contreras, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, LCSW101878. Welcome to the first step on your journey. I support young children to adolescents, in learning to regulate their emotions, manage social challenges and thrive in all environments. I also provide family therapy to help when parents are feeling disconnected from their children or there has been a traumatic event or life transition. I typically work with a specialty age range of 2-10 years old.
As well as the transitional period in pre-teen and teen years to support patients in learning about themselves and managing the hurdles that come with today's day and age. I work with adults who need a safe space to share about everyday challenges brought forth by anxiety, depression and relational challenges.
