I have worked in the following workspaces: child welfare, outpatient addiction treatment, family resilience training out of USA, baker act hospital and lastly private practice. I have worked with a wide variety of clients but most often had success in working with clients with anxiety, adult ADD/ADHD, issues related to grief/loss, family/generational stressors and PTSD.
I like for every client to feel welcome, accepted and comfortable enough to make progress on self-identified goals. I enjoy using humor in sessions and provide a relaxed approach to therapy.
I like to take a collaborative approach to therapy and offer an educational approach in teaching concepts that help you build skills to handle your struggles differently. I enjoy being a part of the process of change with those I work with and
