I love helping people & couples rediscover themselves. Sometimes it feels like we get lost along the way, buried in the needs of relationships or caregiving. We become what others have wanted or needed and when it gets to the breaking point, we find we don't even know what we want or need to feel whole again. I have many years of working with people starting over. Often the grief of what was and the anxiety of what comes next can make it hard to listen to your own voice. Through learning to quiet internal activation bells and strip away the judgements inherited from others, I work with clients to redefine what is important.
By learning skills to regulate the nervous system, examining and challenging unhelpful thinking, and thoughtful reflection - we can create a space for something new to grow. I come from queer, feminist and anti-colonialist learnings and believe that questioning our environment is an important part of figuring out where we are getting stuck.
