Welcome to Oak Counseling! While I work with a variety of individuals, my therapeutic focus is children, teens, and early adulthood transitions. I strive to understand each clients' unique goals by building a strong therapeutic relationship with each client. We may be a good match if you or your child is currently navigating behavioral/emotional regulation challenges, self-harm, transitions, (family/college/social), ADHD, anxiety, or depression.
I have a background working with courts, supporting families and children through court involvement and separation, and am happy to support you/your family through this.
I work from a strength-based approach, focusing on abilities and recourses already possessed; while working with you to identify skill development, recourses, or coping. I incorporate psychoeducation to help you understand your symptoms and strategies that work for you. I also emphasize relational based therapy, noting the need of safety and trust.
