Welcome to Oak Counseling! My work focuses predominantly around children, adolescents, and those transitioning into early adulthood, with an emphasis on elementary and middle school age. I am passionate about understanding each clients' unique situation and aiding you in working to improve overall wellbeing and enjoyment of life. I frequently work from a strength-based approach to enhance abilities and recourses already possessed; while working with you to identify areas where there is need to increase skills, recourses, or coping.
We may be a good clinical match if you or your child are currently navigating behavioral/emotional regulation challenges, self-harm, new transitions, changing family dynamics, ADHD, anxiety, or depression. For my younger clients, I also offer parent support sessions and family support as part of treatment as appropriate.
