Hi, my name is Breanna. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2020 with my Masters in Counseling. I started my work as a therapist with high-risk clients through non-profit and agency work. From there, I moved to private practice where I have thoroughly enjoyed working with a diverse client caseload. I work with all age ranges, as well as with couples and families experiencing all of the stress that life likes to throw at us. Many of my clients end up choosing to bring in friends and family members for support. Whatever your needs may be, we will figure it out together.
My main focus is to form a strong relationship with my client. My sessions feel conversational and I am known to lean on the blunt side of therapy. I work to help my clients see their strengths, get in touch with their emotions, process their trauma, understand their needs, improve their relationships, and learn to advocate for themselves in healthy ways.
I am 100% myself in my sessions. I cannot ask my clients to remove their masks if I am wearing one myself. I hope that my clients will feel empowered through their sessions. I want my clients to see exactly what they are capable of, to be able to overcome their fears and insecurities, to give themselves grace, and be proud of who they are.
