Life can be confusing and, at times, difficult to navigate. Likewise, the path to personal development and growth is not always linear. Wherever you may be on your personal journey, I will meet you there. Together, we will utilize evidence-based practices to explore any unproductive thought patterns to change the way the brain processes and responds to our environment. Our goal; to improve overall quality of life. I work from a strength-based, person-centered model, and believe the only person who can determine what is best for you is, of course, YOU!
As an Anishinaabe tribal member, I provide a holistic approach (mind, body, spirit, ancestors) in sessions, and am well-versed in addressing historical trauma. I am also an LGBTQ+, gender affirming, and polyamorous/non-monogamy affirming therapist.
If you are looking for support in your process of coming out, navigating new relationships, or simply discovering your identity, you have come to the right place. I have experience working with individuals, couples, and families to develop and maintain effective skills to process trauma and better manage mental health symptoms.
