My name is Bre, and I am so happy you are here! I have experience treating adults struggling with anxiety, depression, people pleasing, and perfectionism, and a big focus of mine has been with disordered eating and body image issues, with special focus on Binge Eating Disorder. I am queer, Health At Every Size® aligned, fat positive, and I love helping clients break free of diet mentality and dismantle the negative messages that have contributed to pain and low self worth. Additionally, I am passionate about parts work, helping clients deal with complex trauma and lack of self trust, and I am trained in EMDR and STAIR Method.
My focus is building a trusting and open relationship, meeting clients where they are and developing goals unique to their needs together. Since no two clients are alike, sessions can either be structured or more organic, and all tend to be filled with laughter, validation, and honesty. I hope to be someone in your corner, who challenges and encourages you.
While I may not be a perfect fit for everyone, I do bring my entire self into the therapeutic process in order to provide a safe and empathetic environment. My goal is to help clients who want better relationships, either with their food, their bodies, their friends and families, or themselves. Contact me for a free virtual consultation!
