About
We've all been through a lot. How are you feeling? Experiencing prolonged stress, trauma, disappointment or loss can have a negative impact on mood and functioning. It can affect how our brains and nervous systems function. Do you want support while you practice skills for coping, soothing your nervous system or rewiring your brain? Often therapy is a messy and sometimes painful process of feeling expression, problem solving, and learning new ideas for thinking and behavior. The work of therapy starts with receiving support, building trust and then seems to require a certain amount of courage, and resolve...ending in a better YOU!
I've been working to keep up with best practices and the latest trainings. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Therapist, I use a combination of cognitive and body based interventions to facilitate healing including CBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I am a Certified DBT Therapist. I have basic training in Internal Family Systems and use Somatic Interventions.
