We all have challenges. Admittedly some are objectively harder than others, but our own challenges are unique to each of us and can seem devastating from our own perspective. I would like to help you work through yours. I am not going to give you platitudes. Instead, I want to help you learn to accept, cope, cry if you need to, and then get back up! It’s not easy, but you can do hard things! As a college professor and with my background in medicine, my natural instinct is to make sure you understand both the biological and psychological reasons behind your troubles and then we work together to put YOU back in control of your life.

Do you find yourself stuck in patterns that feel hard to break? Saying "yes" when you want to say "no?" Overthinking conversations long after they’ve ended? Feeling responsible for others’ emotions while neglecting your own? Perhaps you’re deeply self-aware but still feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself and others. These experiences are often rooted in early attachment patterns. What once helped you feel safe, connected, or accepted may now show up as people-pleasing, perfectionism, and difficulty trusting yourself.

My name is Chelsi and I have over 6 years of experience working in the mental health field. I had previously worked for a nonprofit organization helping low-income families navigate through behavioral health services and get the help that they need. Originally, I am from a small town in CA and moved to Arizona about 6 years ago. I love spending our days outside with my daughter and going to the movies. I have worked with many adults who have struggled with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, self-esteem barriers and stress management.

Asking for help can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re used to handling things on your own or you aren’t sure where to begin. I believe therapy is a practical and meaningful space to gain clarity, build resilience, and create lasting change. Having seen first-hand how stress, burnout, performance pressure, and high expectations affect mental health and relationships, I bring empathy, curiosity, and a grounded, results-focused approach to my work. My goal is to help you better understand yourself while developing tools that support real-life growth.

My goal in therapy is to help you navigate the challenges that come with being human. Sometimes these challenges are loud- anxiety that feels constant- the heavy pain of grief, or the chaos of a life transition. But often, these struggles can be more quiet. You may feel “stuck” and that you’re reacting to life instead of living it. Whether you’re navigating something that feels loud, or quiet, I provide a space where you can safely slow down, unpack, and get curious about what you’re experiencing.
