Hello! I'm Brayden, a passionate expressive therapist dedicated to guiding individuals on their journey to self-discovery and healing. With a background in mental health counseling and crisis care, I specialize in Expressive Art Therapy which includes modalities such as art, music, dance/movement, and drama. I hope to foster an environment that facilitates growth and healing for clients and their loved ones. Together, we create a trusting relationship to spark self-discovery and enduring change for clients of all identities, bodies, and abilities.
Expressive art therapy provides an alternative form of communication, particularly beneficial when traditional verbal expression may feel limiting. Artistic expression allows for the articulation of emotions, experiences, and narratives that may be challenging to express through words alone.
My clinical experience includes work with people experiencing: depression, anxiety, symptoms related to traumatic experiences, self-esteem concerns, grief, life adjustments, and acute or chronic mental health conditions across the spectrums of gender, race, sexuality, and class.
