Does it feel hard to find a therapist who gets it? I specialize in helping high EQ/IQ individuals move to their next level of thriving. My areas of focus include anxiety, couples counseling, ADHD, OCD, addiction, and trauma. I help you tap into your innate wisdom so that you can create goals and begin to consider your legacy, using your gifts to better your community. Many clients I work with were told they were "too sensitive" as a child. They might struggle now with gifted kid burnout. I can guide you in reconnecting with younger parts of yourself and shift unhelpful core beliefs. I am licensed in Virginia, DC, and Maryland.
I can also assist you as you walk through mystical or difficult to explain experiences. I am trained in Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM)—a meditative therapy, as well as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). In session, we will use principles from transpersonal and Jungian psychology, attachment, meditation + mindfulness, and somatic practices.
It's important to me that you feel safe and seen. I aim to create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental vibe for you. We will take a collaborative approach to help you examine your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and learn tools to shift patterns that are no longer useful.
