My work has included families, children, adolescents, and adults in the community and health institutions. I have experience with serious mental illnesses, substance abuse treatment, chronic illnesses, and end of life (death and dying). My current focus is with the adult population.
I use various skills and therapy models through treatment because I believe services need to be tailored to the individual. I am also a certified EMDR therapist. I believe therapy is a partnership where there is safety and trust. My role as a therapist is one of guidance and providing the tools necessary for positive change to occur.
