I have always been drawn to kids and young adults who feel like they don’t quite fit — often sensitive, quirky, bright or hard on themselves. Some are underachieving in school despite clear potential; others struggle with perfectionism or anxiety about not being “enough” or being "too much." I help build self-acceptance, connection and a sense of belonging. Your child deserves to feel proud of who they are, not in spite of their differences but because of them. While I certainly enjoy working with young people excited for therapy, I also work very well with children who are having hesitations.
I use a person-centered, relational and playful approach that honors each person’s uniqueness. I'm also interested in being silly and finding natural ways to communicate with my clients that go beyond words- like play! I often find it helpful to collaborate with parents and schools to support lasting change.
Parenting a child who’s struggling can feel overwhelming and isolating. It can be hard to see them discouraged or disconnected. I'm here to listen, support and work alongside you. Together, we can help your child feel more at home in themselves. I work on a team at Intuition Wellness Center. I would be honored to connect!
