Some of life's challenges require help. It takes courage, wisdom, and strength to recognize and act on that knowledge. My name is Dr. Brandon Sylvester and my experience focuses on helping adolescents and adults overcome emotional and behavioral difficulties. I believe when we know better, we do better; so I focus on bringing awareness to unhealthy patterns. I work in close collaboration with you to design a plan for treatment and work side by side with you as we implement each step of the plan.
I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, a background which I use in conjunction with other models of therapy to help adults and adolescents of various cultural backgrounds to recognize, face, and ultimately overcome life's burdens. My experience includes working with disturbances caused by anxiety, neurodivergence, behavior, mood, and trauma.
In addition to therapy, I also offer evaluation services. During these times, I will sit down with you for a through interview followed by psychological testing. The process is designed to offer an extensive explanation of behavior, direct the focus of treatment, and/or answer a specific question.
